Mr (I use Mr. that loosely) Justin Bieber‘s “Believe” debuts at #1 on the Top Albums chart, his fourth chart-topping release with 374,000 units sold. It is the second biggest one week sales total for any release so far this year, only trailing Adele’s post-Grammy total. Kenny Chesney‘s “Welcome To The Fishbowl” debuts at #2 and Fiona Apple‘s crappy record, “The Idler Wheel Is Wiser…,” debuts at #3 with 72,000 units sold. Billy Corgan debuts at #4 with his side project, Smashing Pumpkins’ “Oceania“ 53,000 copies sold.
Other releases to debut in the top 40 include Dirty Heads at #18, Glen Hansard at #21, the “Brave” soundtrack at #33 and Walk The Moon at #36. Other big movers include the “Rock Of Ages” soundtrack 9-5 (+34%), the “Let It Shine” soundtrack 29-12 (+59%), Katy Perry 42-31 (+23%) and Rihanna 57-37 (+27%).
Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe” remains at #1 on the Digital Songs chart with 263,000 downloads sold, don’t hate. Top Ten’s below:
