I’ve got mixed feelings about a new Strokes release, as I’ve mentioned before. Rolling Stone, albeit a source of fading repute, says it’s “the best album The Strokes have made since Is This It.” Let’s keep our fingers crossed that David Fricke is on to something and the guys have overcome, as Patrick has mildly put it, “a bumpy recording process.” Angles will be out March 22nd in the states and one day earlier in the UK.
