If you don’t know who CSS is by now, well I kind of feel sorry for you. The brilliance and uber-Hipsterness of the band, was way cool before Silverlake and Echo Parkers started pouting at hipster coffee shops. CSS is a São Paulo electro-pop band and even though one of their older songs appeared on a Apple commercial, don’t hold that against them, they still deliver amazing tunes each time they open our earholes. Cansei de Ser Sexy or CSS have delivered hardcore and true to their roots, with their first new single, “Hit Me Like A Rock.” This comes off of their forthcoming third full-length and superbly returning to form, La Liberación, due out NOW. CSS have also created a mixtape for the baking of an apple pie. Don’t ask me why, but you can snag that right here and they also are giving away their single.
