In a ULTIMATE FUCK YOU style, the Flaming Lips just re-released their single & video for their cover Heady Fwends brilliant tune, “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.” If you remember months ago, Erykah Badu sang Amanda Palmer‘s part. Erykah and her sister stared in the video in a similar artsy-nudey-tudey way in the video but with more crotch shots, glitter & fake blood. She immediately recanted the video as it “supposedly” did not have her final approval (read HERE via Pitchfork). The Flaming Lips immediately pulled the video and made NO COMMENT.
